oh, that's what "introductions" means...

Post by Jeff »

When Roy was telling new folks at this week's Jam about these message boards, he mentioned that there's an "Introductions" part where people can introduce themselves.

Man, I've been slow on the uptake about that one. It all makes so much sense to me now.

Hi, everybody! I'm Jeff Britt. My first venture into improv began this January at the Hideout with the Level 1 class taught by Andy Crouch and Troy Miller. Then in March and April, Troy taught my Level 2 class, and I hear that Shana will be teaching my Level 3, which begins this Monday, July 2.

As far as who I am, I'm basically a longtime Austinite who has had a passion for stage acting for about 21 years. Another indelible thing about me is that I love movies so much that I practically start to see dead babies crawl on my ceiling when it's been a few days since I've seen a movie. Other loves: camping, bicycling, writing, filmmaking, road trips.

I love this community of people and performers more than I can say. Thanks for having me, AIC.

Hello Jeff. I challenge you to a dual. Not a duel, but a dual.

Finally, someone is bringing back that lost art of multi-tasking.

Two guys with flowers watching the sun come up. That sounds lovely.

I heard you like Bon Jovi a lot. A LOT.

You said this at a faux press conference before eating ice cream faces.

(I sound like Tami I do.)

The high five was motivated by our agreement, not by our disagreement, about hand job standards.
