Name one person--to avoid undue bias a person who is not in your troupe or a romantic relationship with you--that you like playing with in this community. Why?

Chris Allen - He is always playful and fun. He supports his partner to play really great scenes. Plus I love his physicality.

Can we name more than one???
- Alex Nixon is fun because we share a love of old 1930-40's movies.
- Ann Wilson is such fun because she gots great energy and loves to laugh.
- Ever Mainard is everything a good improviser should be -- cleaver, a good-listner, good-natured, and KOO-KOO!
- I also love to play with Aden K & Zach P & David O bc they are so clever and smart and funny and make me laugh -- a lot! And though we practiced a bunch together, I never got to play with them on stage.
- Jessica & Chris, because they love physical stuff (me too!).
- I (would) like to play with Craig Koftas or Ted Rutherford -- because they are totally awesome!!! Vertigo Ramp rocked the SVT house last night!!!
*I wish I got to play with more people around town! When is that CT jam gonna start up????

That's a tough one. I like playing with everyone...
But if I had to pick just one...
Finalists for my favorite improv partner (imprarvtner):
Easiest to work with: Kareem, Vines, Asaf, Crouch
Funnest to work with: Cody, Lamb, Troy
Most relaxing to work with: Jessica, Zach, Lindsey, Anne, Aden, Wes, Dav
If you weren't on the list, you're in the "I still have a good time improvising with them/You're apart of It's Full of Cobras or Dr. Clobber and ineligible for this selection" category.
Winner coming soon...

I'm gonna follow the rules and only name one person that's not in my troupe. But, I must say that I love playing with a ton of folks in this community. I wish I could play with a lot of you more often.
Cody is my current favorite to play with. The dude is so chill on stage and will commit hardcore to the most retarded of premises or characters. He heightens the hell out of everything that you throw at him and he endows you with great character traits in the scene. I've only played with him a few times in Vinyl Destination and in the occasional workshop but the bro's got some skills. I hope we play together more soon.
There are a ton of other folks I'd love to glow about right here, but I'm gonna stick to the rules...dammit.

Reading this makes me realize that there's so many people whose performance I respect but have never played with. Kinda makes me sad.....and want to play Maestro more.
Last summer the Leading Brands invited guest stars to play with us and I kind of miss that. We learned a lot from the more experienced players and had some really fun shows with Bob A, Andy C, Madeline, Christina, Val, Andrea and Shana. Did I forget anyone?
The same years eve show was also a great mixer. I did my first musical improv in front of a packed audience in the downstairs theater. Arthur and the ladies in GGG that were a part of that were great support to Mike K and myself who were scared stupid, but still ended up contributing to a fun show.
So...in short...I'm punting. Love to many. Can't name just one.

One person I love playing with that I don't get to play with very often is Bob McNichol. I've shared the stage a few times in jams, Maestros, Stool Pigeons, 321, and some other things and everytime he is a joy to work with. I didn't get any scenes with him last night, but I loved watching him work. He's a thinking man's player and I respect that.
But yes, kudos to the whole community for being fun, supportive, and a joy to work with.

I would say Shannon. I've known Shannon longer than...bascially every other improv person and I've improvised with him never.
EDIT: Oh wait, it might not count because I've never actually played with him. In which case I'd say Andy P (still doesn't count because we're in the same sketch troupe, but you said IMPROV)
And if THAT doesn't count, then I'll say Lamb.

I miss me some Jill Morris
with her fundamental playfulness, her dark & dirty little brain cranking out absurd gift after gift, I could always count on her to understand what I was going for on stage.

Andrea Young sings...and always seems to know what's going on and what I want even if I haven't decided yet. Also, she plays mean dudes.

The best scenes I have done in Austin have been with Erika May whenever we have done Stool Pigeon together.
Erika, remember my two-person show idea. Seriously.
