... can we have an Academy Awards equivelent for the girls? I was looking at the Alamo's emails below, and was thinking of getting tickets. And thought, wouldn't it be cool if some of the improvisers did to the Academy Awards what Jeremy and Mike did for the football game? Just an idea. If I was an older improvisor I'd run one.. but as it is, I haven't enough experience yet. I'd love to help with boxoffice/lights/mundane stuff though if anyone wants to run away with this.

I was totally thinking about doing this - renting out the downstairs theater at the Hideout and either just broadcasting the show, or getting other improvisers to help do the voice over. Then I realized I didn't have enough time to get it all organized, so I started thinking I should plan on doing this next year.
I'd be up for going to the Lake Creek Alamo if we wanted to do that as a group.

a voice-over awards show would be awesome. I would be interested in doing some improvising. Anyone else? We can probably find some old shows from years past and practice with em. I'll wear one of my fancy dresses!

It would take a combination of cattiness and humor...

i would totally be down for this, but i'll be on an airplane at that time. which would make it significantly harder for me to be heard by the audience.

We'll be just getting in from New Orleans here, but I'm down to help with the performance part of this.
