It is finally happening.
That Other Paper proudly presents
THE SICKEST F***ING STORIES I EVER HEARD
Five performers play poker onstage, betting real money, drinking real beer and telling real sick stories. As Time Out NY puts it: “Imagine if the Algonquin Round Table were to trade Dorothy Parker and Robert Benchley for Howard Stern and Al Goldstein.â€

Matt Beardon is hooking me up with some potential stand-ups and Ratliff is hooking me up with possible musicians. I am looking to mix in as many different communities as possible with this show.
I will be pulling in more improvisers in coming performances (the next will be in August).

Matt Beardon = funny
Charlie Hodge = a wealth of sick stories that will be difficult to top
Owen Egerton = great guy
Ratliff = warm fuzzy
BRAVO ASAF!!!

Like I said when you mentioned this last time, this sounds fun and I want in. Maybe next time.

I know that many of you have interest in being in the show. And all you need to do is when you see me, pull me aside and tell me a sick story. That is the initiation. Don't email me with them and don't post them. I have enough reading right now.

Wait, REAL Money?
Count me in! I so want to do this now.
(but I'll be bringing my own wine coolers - don't like beer.)

I'm surprised you have to ask.
Call me and I'll explain, I really can't give you a background in the public forum.

That's, like, every conversation i've ever had with you...I'm mailing you one anyways.

entertaining aspects of this:
1. I don't know how to play poker
2. I am really bad liar
3. those of you have listened to my drunken ramblings have only gotten a taste of the poor life choices I have made.
thanks asaf.

We are currently trying to get Tim Murphy, the announcer for the Rollergirls, to be the final player. Should be awesome.
