Troy (and everyone else for that matter) has worked extremely hard on this project. Just pulling this off in such a short amount of time is an amazing feat. ALL HAIL TROY!!! I hope that some of you are planning on coming. It should be a great time and what I have see so far is very funny! The audience vote is taking place at the screening tomorrow night (Tuesday), so we need some people out there to support. I have my ticket!!!

Besides, what else are you doing on a Tuesday night??? *I don't really want you to answer that question...just come to the screening*

See you tomorrow night!!!

Holy Crap, this was so fucking good! Excellent job everyone!

The competition is extremely tough too. AIC totally represented though and got a ton of laughs.

Also, Best.Tagline.Ever.

WOW...what a blast last night. There were some amazing trailers. I was blown away by the overall quality of the entries. There were only 2-3 of the 15 or so that I thought were just bad. I certainly (and objectively) believe that Apollo the 13th was one of the best ones. It got a lot of big laughs. It was so much fun to see my friends kicking some ass on the big screen.

Hats off to Troy for his 36 hour editing marathon and for doing such a wonderful job!

Now let's hope it makes it into the top 10. Decision coming Friday...stay tuned!

On a side note...our poster was the only one not on display at the Alamo last night when we got there. After speaking to Drafthouse Henri (who said it was his favorite poster of them all) it was determined that the poster was on the wall and might have been stolen. I take that as a compliment (even thought they could have just printed as many copies as they liked from the website).

Things I learned last night...

1. Little boys with cancer can be funny
2. Good poster + fantastic tag line does not = good trailer (see Cast Away 2: Ball to the Wall)
3. Castaway (and all Tom Hanks endeavours after Bosom Buddies and Big) and Shindler's List are TERRIBLE MOVIES THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN MADE - just ask the owner of the Drafthouse
4. ACE Pear Cider tastes good
5. I would honestly like to see a movie made based on the premise of Memen2...the hilarious trials and tribulations of having a brain-injured roommate [poor Leonard  ]

FYI - the poster is sweet and is the brainchild of Teddy R. If you like it, give him props, and he might just autograph a copy for you.

Thanks for everyone for showing him - we really had a strong group of supporters in the audience.

Is anyone planning on going tonight? I'm not sure if I can, but I'd sure love a report.

Being subtle is not often my strong suit. Thanks!

Gang,

Our trailer for "Apollo 13, Part 2" will screen again this Tuesday, 5-29, at the Alamo Downtown, at 9:45, as part of the Best of the Competition. Anyone who was there last Tuesday can attest how freakin' entertaining this whole program is. So come out and support all the great improvisors who contributed to the success of this little film. We might even possibly win an award, so that's cool too.

Get your tickets in advance - this will sell out.
