Austin Improv

Has everyone heard of Austin improviser Owen Egerton's new book of short stories, "How Best to Avoid Dying"?

There's a release party/book signing at BookPeople tonight, Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m. with brews from Whip In and tunes from Southpaw.

Yeah, I love Owen. I'm bummed I'm gonna miss this, but it's smack dab in the middle of our Thursday show. Tell him I said hi.

Ditto. Owen does great work, on stage and on the page. His last book was basically a harold in print form. I'm really looking forward to the new one. Unfortunately, we've got rehearsal during the Book People thing tonight, but I heartily commend anyone who's free to go out and represent.
