Jam for 5/15/2007- Operation Game Dump
Posted: May 14th, 2007, 11:25 am
Another week, another jam. Tuesday, 7-10pm at the Hideout.
But this week ain't just the same old same old.
Kareem and I are going to hit the games hardcore. Specifically we're going to focus on the Maestro games that are played most commonly... how they work, why they work, how best to approach them, and (where applicable) how they help make your scene skills stronger.
There are a LOT of new people playing Maestro these days, which is awesome. So this jam is a good chance to get some crucial practice in.
For the last hour or so, we'll run a complete Maestro show, though maybe without the elimination.
I'd specifically like to invite:
* seasoned players who don't normally make it to the jam to come out and share their knowledge.
* new improvisers/players who want more experience learning to be comfortable with the games.
* people who don't necessarily feel like jamming but want to be audience for the last hour (9 to 10pm)
* and everyone else, of course.
