Mo's Surgical Lobsterization

Hello.
Some of you might know that I am soon to go in for some pretty major, scary surgery. My whole life I have had a condition called Pectus Excavatum. Basically, it means my sternum bows inward. I've managed to conceal it most of my life, and the fact that you've never seen me in a low-cut hoochie top has less to do with my politics and more to do with a severe chest wall deformity!
So anyway, about a year ago I found out that it has gotten really bad, and is officially hurting my heart and lungs. So, after much deliberation, freaking out, and being all weird about it, I have gone ahead and scheduled surgery to correct it. I'm having surgery on June 6 in LA. I will be recovering in San Diego at my mom's for about three weeks after.
So anyway, now you all know, so if I've been weird or a jerk lately, it's either because I am inately weird and a jerk, or because I'm about to have all of my intercostal cartilage broken and wired back together. Hello Oxycontin addiction! I should be all healed up and fabulous by Out of Bounds, which is my goal.
Thank you for reading this.
