Dear Nerds,

I will be at a midnight showing of Spiderman 3 the night of May 3rd/Morning of May 4th. I won't say where or how or make any effort to organize a mass outing.*

* I cheered louder than the twelve year old birthday party when Peter beat up Flash Thompson and I cried when Uncle Ben said, "With great power comes great responsibility" and then got shot in the face. If this makes me somehow weaker in your eyes, I'll say this: You are a bad improviser and not a funny person and it must be terrible living in a world without a sense of child-like wonderment. So there.

Last night I had a dream that I was in high school performing in a shitty musical. The musical was western themed. I couldn't remember any of my lines, or what was supposed to happen . . . but I was in costume. After missing my entrance, I sat backstage and watched this big number where girls in bonnets kicked up brightly colored cakes on trays from the ground and dance/delivered then to the front of the stage. One of the girls dancing made eye contact with me. She looked angry. Distracted, she tripped and her cake fell. Then some woman on stage judging the performance stepped on the cake and looked extremely disappointed. Someone in the wings backstage behind me said, "Yeah, step on it". I am nerdier than this person.

Hence, I shall follow you anywhere . . . to see spiderman 3.
whether you know about it or not

oh, and jastroch . . .

you were louder than those boys.
