you got it, my man. How's life outside Austin?

Post by idrake76 »

life in mississippi can be equated to two things- humid and tense. but that's the way of the South. the mexican food is horrible and the people are sickening sweet, but only the ones born and raised here. I do have a question for you though. not that i mind a good lengthy conversation with anyone, but why did you choose to strike up this one with me after such few interactions? just wondering... :D

I honestly don't know. I just thought you sounded like a cool guy and wanted to see if you, in actuality, were.

Alamo Downtown is not going out of business. It's relocating from it's current place on Colorado to the site of the Ritz on Sixth Street. Here's the story about the move from The Statesman.

I'm unsure about the move. If nothing else, it'll make some events, like SXSW, more interesting.

thanks Justin, that makes alot more sense. i have fond memories of Sid and Marty Kroft festivals and Shaft triple bills. Oh, Dauphin says hello and hopefully he'll be coming with us to the festival.

He damn well better.

Alamo is having a Food & Film Event with Shaft soon where you get a free 40 oz. with your ticket. I'm buying tickets for the Willy Wonka Food & Film Event.
