Hello-
My name is Lucas and I am a graduate from the University of Texas. I've been out in LA performing at Improv Olympic and Second City for the last three years.

A group I perform with called Danger Danger is intrested in coming to Austin to do a few shows and see all the cool shit we are hearing about in the Austin Improv community.

We would like to come out in late August/ Early September. Any advice or help you can offer by way of booking contacts, suggestions, or general advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Lucas

Lucas,

It just so happens that our big-ole improv festival, Out of Bounds, happens Labor Day weekend. That is, from about Wed., August 29th to Sun., Sept. 2nd. To maximize your improv pleasure, start by applying to Out of Bounds:

But start soon, because the deadline for applying is April 10.

Failing that, I handle scheduling for The Austin Improv Collective produced shows- The Threefer, Thursday Night Awesome, The Double Barrel, and The Cagematch. We'd love to have you play in a show. We normally start booking those shows at the beginning of July. If you have any questions, just private message me, or send an e-mail to SCHEDULE AT AUSTINIMPROV.COM

You can also drop me or Jeremy Lamb a line by using the prodcuers email at the OoB website if you have any further quesions about the festival. Come check it out. We have a decent track record of putting on a festival so pleasant that some people end up moving here. Even if it is really for the chips and queso. :D
