Alanis Morissette is a THIEF!!!

Post by Spaztique »

A few weeks ago, a few of us got together and had a jam band session, and during our session, we recorded a serious acoustic/soft rock version of "My Humps" by The Black Eyed Peas...

... and then today, I saw THIS!!! Coincidence?! I think not!

Everyone who was with us that day when we recorded that, I suggest you get your pitchforks and torches! We've got some lynching to catch up on!

It is true, my friends. Alanis Morrisette truly is a thief. Check it out, y'all:

Compare the dates.
Look closely at the times.

Our recording of a parody of the "Lady Lumps" song was FIRST.

She stole the song that we stole and sucked all of the jazz and r&b out of it in an attempt to save her dying ego-soul. We must destroy her before she sucks us all.

i feel your pain, my band did a folk version of Gnarls Barkley "Crazy" and then, two weeks later we hear Ray Lamontage's version on the air...same thing! now, we recorded an acoutic folk version of Nelly's Hot in Herre last week and sure enough today i see on Perez Hilton that some chick has done the same friggin' thing! Buncha savages in this world!

I guess we'll have to face facts. Playing an acoustic versions of a top 40 pop hit is not an original idea.
They call me Dollar Bill 'cause I always make sense.

yeh, obviously, but . . . can we still do the lynching thing? i strongly believe that Morrisette's ego-soul-caliber could pose a problem to The Austin Improv Collective in the future. We should do something about it now before it's too late.
