Maybe some logo proposals will show up?
We'll talk about the new Stage Manager and how things will be shaping up as far as how we run the shows.

experience committee will be giving its spiel about stuff, and how there may be hideout appreciation days once a month for the first few months of 2006

i won't be there sadly as i will be driving back to the tundra...
but, here are some things i've been thinking about
Publicity, ie flyers and stunts are pretty important. it shouldn't be a requirement but there should be a larger number of people who see its value and are willing to participate.
Scheduling - make sure people aren't burned out by the new schedule. some troupes are going to want to be less involved than others.
Tickets - find a good ticketing system and stick to it with the help of the host troupe, the jon hunt, and improvisers like you.
Theatre - get bulbs or get on andy's ass about getting bulbs for the lights we hung. it'll make shows much sweeter. once you bulb the lights gently without touching the glass part of the bulb, focus them with your mind and body. color as necessary (see: box office ceiling)
also Theatre - please don't paint the floor. not every theatre has to be a black hole of confusion and no personality. (goodbye green ceiling that i loved.)
and to everyone - keep up the good work. i have said it before but i'll say it again. g-d this is one hell of a group to do all this work for improv. it makes me warm inside. it makes me happy to know i'm not the only one who wants to take this another level. LET'S DO IT.
see you soon,

I'd like to briefly discuss AIC funds and where the are or will be going.
Specifically, and selfishly, can the advertising committee expect to receive any as so far all cost and production burderns have be bourne by committee members individually.
How's that for a loaded agenda item?

I'm going show off the draft of the monthly newsletter/program, give a peppy, upbeat overview of where we are in the nonprofit incorporation process, chatter a little about the website, and make some cheery recommendations on how to make our meetings run faster and smoother.

Anyone who has been working on designs for the logo will present them and we can vote. I hope people have been working- if not, there's still time!
Christina and I will talk about the summer improv camp for high school kids.

Parallelogramophonographpargonohpomargolellarap: It's a palindrome!
i had started a thread about this a few weeks ago, but we need to set a specific agenda, setting aside time for each topic as needed and release it prior to the meeting sunday. that way, everyone's time is used productively and effectively.
bob a. and i are meeting today at lunch to discuss 501 c3 status and financial arrangements for AI - we will draft one then.
i'll post it on the board tomorrow or today...if there are things that have not been added to this-or other- threads, reply here.

I support keeping time and sticking to an agenda (of course..I like color coded tabs too)
and
I liked the process last time of taking a few minutes to for each committee
to rundown what they have accomplished since the last meeting and what they're working on.
The Scheduling comm. has a few updates and a couple brief discussion items
As well as the Experience Committee.
I'll bring a talking stick and the smudge.

I have a soccer match at 1:45, so depending on the weather, I won't be able to make the meeting.
I want to make sure the Bar Committee's Announcements are made. (THe bar committee mainly consists of me)
The decisions have been made!
Weekday Bar:
McCormick and Schmicks
Weekend Bar:
Opal Divine's
Go to these bars to build community and be cool.

you just reminded me, shana: a group of us tried to go to mccormick and schmick's last week and found out that they close at 10pm on mondays and 11pm every other night of the week. i don't wanna be out superlate on weeknights, but i might want to hang out until midnight or so. is there another option for weeknights?
