Sweeeet. Can't wait!

Are you flexible about the length of the submission tape?

Speaking of, do you know when OoBW is going to announce who made the cut?

You work your life away and what do they give?
You're only killing yourself to live

flexible as in at least 20 minutes. obviously, we have a certain knowledge base about local groups, but we want to see people put forth the effort of making a video to know they're really interested and excited. we also want to try to rely on submission quality for locals, too. cuz some groups we know less about but still want to give them even keel.

as for OOB West i'm not sure when mike's gonna announce that. the submissions just closed on the 15th so he's prolly still culling the applicants.

not sure yet. we're also going to take submissions for teachers, local and national. we probably will take submissions for hosts but that won't be until june or july that we do that.

and also to clarify a question posed to me today, it is a-ok to hand in your last year's festival appearance as your video submission. unless, you feel you've grown since then and can show us something different. otherwise, i think it's a good marker for what you will do in the cirsumstances of the very same festival. plus, it was what, like 6 months ago.

Also - submission tapes? Make a copy for Brian, huh?

With CT's permission, I'm hoping to handle all the tapes at the CT Theatre. Now all I need is a lock box...

Anyone got a good Al Gore joke? How about an easy toss-up joke about a request for "submission" tapes? Anyone? Ah, who needs ya?

And BB, we spell Theater with an 'er' like our mommas taught us and Noah Webster approves. The Redcoats may rise again.

Last year, the Duchess surprised us by applying out of the blue to be a host. We should formalize it this year, as we're doing with teachers as well.

We're already in the midst of it. Drop me a line off the boards, Asaf.

Hey Shannon and Lamb,

So, that application process is still happening, correct?

Yes. If you're talking Hoover's, I just got 3/4 of your stuff from Vines. Consider this your confirmation. Now, where's that list of potential performers? :D
