Some of our bold and brave improvisers are going to be auditioning for the World Series of Popular Culture this weekend. So Let's help them prepare.

Tonight at the Carousel Lounge at 9:30, we'll have a 3 part trivia contest between 4 teams, closely mirroring the actual show.

If you're not on one of the teams auditioning, you can still come play... not everyone trying out can make it, and there will also be a total wildcard team... maybe two.

There will also be a short set by PGraph, and a set of improv games open to everyone in the improv community. If any other troupes or musicians want to perform, PM me and we might be able to work something out, as well.

So. Games! Trivia! PGraph!

tonight at 9:30pm at the Carousel Lounge.

Here are the confirmed teams for tonight:

ONE:
Jeremy Lamb
Jill Morris
Buckman or Jill's roommate Eric

TWO:
Wesley Bain
Christina de Roos
Kareem Badr

THREE:
________
________
________

FOUR:
________
________
________

Who's comin'?

Since I heart P-graph and I heart the Carousel, I'll try and make it after the jam.

Wes is bringing the trivia questions, so I reckon trivia will start whenever he arrives.

We actually had 4 people come out specifically to see improv, having seen the show listed on austinimprov.com. Talking with them afterwards, they'd also seen One Woman Showdown and Punch Line recently, as well as some unspecified shows at the Hideout.

So that's exciting.

Thanks to all who came out and participated in the improv games, and to everyone who played trivia.

Thanks for thinking about doing this! It was fun and practice-worthy.
