ColdTowne and Girls Girls Girls are joining forces to represent their hometown at North Carolina's Dirty South Improv Festival. Come send us off with a bang!

What: ColdTowne/Girls Girls Girls Improv Throwdown
When: February 3rd 8pm
Where: ColdTowne Theater, 4803 Airport (behind I Luv Video)
How much: $15 for performance and party; $7 for party only

Both troupes will present special performances at ColdTowne Theater at 4803 Airport Blvd., followed immediately by a gala throwdown, replete with karaoke, DJs, dancing and delicious refreshments. Admission for the entire evening is $15, while latecomers can come party with the cream of Austin improv for a mere $7. All proceeds will go toward getting the troupes to Chapel Hill to participate in Dirty South.

What time does the party start... I heard there would be Karaoke...is it true?

The party should start around 10:00. And yes, there will be karaoke!

I'd like to mention the slightly awkward thing that since this is a fundraiser, we are asking all AIC members to pay.

Look at it this way: you could either drop $7-15 in a bar that night, or help your fellow improvisers put Austin on the map at a big, important festival. Austin is gaining national notoriety as an awesome city for improv, so help us spread the word!

It's also a chance to celebrate the birthdays of Sara Farr and Aden Kirschner!

Yes, Aden & I are piggy-backing our celebrations on this fun event. But we're not total moochers... we're bringing cake and icecream!
