GPS satellites are about 12,500 miles from Earth, while the satellite China destroyed was only about 500 miles away. So I think they're safe for the moment. Our spy satellites, on the other hand, are vulnerable. So we'll still be able to use our GPS-guided missiles to hit sites with pinpoint accuracy, if we don't mind the small inconvenience of not actually knowing what we're shooting at.
