hey y'all.

i just back from rehearsal and was reading this week's chronicle.

in it, i saw that brenner put in a picture of tight (that we sent him a few months back in conjunction with the fundraiser), which was a complete and pleasant surprise.

anyways, it made me think we should send over pics of every team in AI. as i mentioned in another thread, brenner has generously offered to do what he can in the listings as space (and big events) allow, within the ebb and flow of other comedy listings each week.

since we dont have $$ for traditional ad placements, listings are really our press/ad strategy right now for getting out the good word.

so...how awesome would it be for him to have a group of pics of the teams to choose from when space _was_ available?

i propose that someone from each team send me your best shot in jpg or gif format. i will zip all of these up and send them over to brenner when i send in the next week of listings this sunday.

no guarantees of course, but stuff like that never hurts.

side note - we arent listed with each team in the thursday and friday slots this week. i found out after the deadline for this weeks listings that our team updates should go directly to brenner each week, vs. the 'calendar@austinchronicle.com' black hole to which i sent this batch. we should be back on (with listings of teams) this next weekend.

update.

i forwarded the pics from those who sent me photos in this past weeks updated listing email to brenner.

i dont want to send him photos everyweek, but we should have a good cache of team photos for him to use when space is available.

net - go ahead and send me your team photos if you havent already, and i will send them along when we hit critical mass later in the month(?).

btw - i had to photoshop reduced cheeks on wes to get the photo to a 'printable' state. jeez, man.
