Punchline is a stand-up comedy open-mic night where 15 comics get four minutes onstage. Everyone is welcome to sign up [http://thatotherpaper.com/austin/punchline] to perform in this fast-paced show, so long as they at least try to be be funny. ColdTowne Theater's intimate, relaxed atmosphere makes this open mic perfect for comedians who'd like to perfect their jokes or even give stand-up a try for the first time. Cost is $5; BYOB.

These shows are being put on by That Other Paper. If you haven't visited http://thatotherpaper.com or met these guys and gals yet, come come come on out. They are incredible supportive of the comedy scene in Austin (especially improv) and a lot of them are taking classes/coming to shows all the time at the Hideout/ColdTowne Theater.
