NFL Playoffs Smack Talk

Actually, I won't be talking smack. But who are you rooting for? I'm a diehard Chiefs man from before I was born, and I will be very happy if they can beat the Colts. That's all I'm asking.
Who else? I know we have Saints fans, Eagles fans, Cowboys fans on the boards. Anyone else? My brother's a Bears guy, and so's Craigy I think. I'd be happy with any number of NFC teams in the SuperBowl.
I'll be pulling for the Chiefs, but I think the Ravens are going to take it in the AFC. Although San Diego could give them fits.
Other thoughts?

Jets vs Patriots could be one of the more entertaining games of the playoffs... I think the Colts are way overrated and could very well lose to the Chiefs in the first round. The Chargers are the team to beat, the Ravens are just a bump in the road for any team wanting to make it to the superbowl.
The NFC is hard to take seriously, I gotta admit. I don't see the fumbling, stumbling Cowboys, Giants, or Seahawks making it past their first game, though the Eagles are looking decent. Saints vs Bears, Rex Grossman is a joke and the world will know it.

well, i'm screwed as usual when it comes to the nfl.
i was almost a bears fan when they sucked when i lived there. now i can't claim them even though they've got my boy cedric benson and urlacher is one of my favorite players.
then there's the titans with my hero vince young. my old team, the suckjob oilers. only sweet after they moved. are they even in?
and then the saints with drew brees who is from austin and reggie bush who is one of my favorite players.
i guess i have to root against the cowboys and for the saints. the texans should trade their entire team for reggie bush and vince young. then hire some nfl europe players to round out the rest of the pointless positions. they should also get jerry rice to trade in his high heeled dancing shoes for some kleats and get his ass out there, too.
and warren moon could be the deep snapper... and.....

Dallas v Seattle has created a family crisis as I've always held a delicate balance of nfl/family loyalties between the two. Not that either team deserves to move on. Can they both lose? If anybody is having a watching party for lame teams let me know....

the NFL needs more deep snappers. I'd be behind a team comprised entirely of deep snappers in an instant.

You gotta go for the Saints. I don't care who you are or where you're from. We need all the help we can get. This is our 40th year. It was 20 years before we even got to a playoff game and another 13 years before we ever won a game.
I'll shave a damn fleur de lis in my head if we even get to the Super Bowl.
It's our turn, dammit.

As a Cleveland Browns fan, I feel your pain. I want nothing more than the Ravens and specifically their suckjob owner Art Modell to experience losing, losing, and more losing. You would think after the Colts owner shafted Baltimore that the city wouldn't wish the same thing upon anybody else. But then, as the t-shirts say, " Baltimore sucks... Modell swallows." F*#kers still won the Super Bowl despite all the bad karma.
(Yeah, I'm from St. Louis, but when I was growing up the football team there was a joke, so I allied myself with the blue-collar Bernie Kosar / Ernest Byner/ Ozzie Newsome/Clay Matthews crew and the shirtless-in-sub-freezing-weather Dawg Pound, and now I can't break away)

Man' what's up with Garcia's Anakin Skywalker glove there? He's part robot or something.
Also, I must point out that the Colts have the worst run defense in the NFL, and they didn't even have to go up against LaDanian Tomlinson or my man, Larry Johnson. I'm thinking Johnson rushes for close to 200 yards on Saturday, Colts total time of possession is somwhere around 10 minutes, and the Chiefs get a rubber match against the Chargers. Any takers?

I can't wait to watch the Colts smashed and carried away like a fine mist

... in the next round. That's what I meant, the next round.
Chiefs offense didn't get a first down until late in the 3rd quarter, despite three handy interceptions. Sad. Sad.

Oy.
May the rest of your respective teams fare much better.

Don't worry. Tony Dungy always chokes when it comes to the Division Championship. He did it in Tampa, and keeps his streak going in Indy.

Saints vs Chargers would be sweet, but it will be:
Eagles or Seahawks vs Ravens

I get chills thinking about the Saints game this Saturday. But nobody will ever be able to take away our division championship this year no matter what happens.
But the Eagles? EAGLES? Come on.
Come on.
Eagles?
Hershel Walker came to the Wal Mart in Covington once and I said hi to him.
