HARD TARGET # __
Are you tired of playing to small houses?
Do you have a new business that sells theatre that you need people to know about? Classes?
Are you one of the few improvisers in the AIC who doesn't badmouth flyering as a means to advertise?
Do you want more people to know about Improv in Austin?
Are you aware that running a business means you have to not have fun sometimes?
if you answered yes to any of these questions, you may qualify for the year's final hard-targeting flyering mission:
FIRST NIGHT
on the web: first night
download the program for maximum infoage
beginning last year, every new year's eve in Austin is going to see beaucoups of arts organizations of all ilk taking over downtown. There is no performing improv as far as I can tell. But there will be plenty of theatre lovers there looking for new things to try in the new year. Let's hand them something.
Festivities kick off at 2pm all over downtown, mostly NorCo from the river to around 6th street. let's meet at 5:30 at City Hall and hit the Grand Procession. After that we'll just float around to events and crowds, spreading the good word.
So, that's 5:30pm, December 31st at City Hall.
Parking will suck really bad I'm guessing so get on it early. If you want to join up with us at a later time, give me a call on my cellular telephone and we can rendez-vous. I will be leaving the festivities around 9ish to go to Spider House, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop.
If you still need motivation, please read the questions at the top again.
thanks, a'll
beard
Can I get a head count of interested parties?
