Sex, Sex and More Sex-Call to Action

Post by Jules »

Hi ladies and gents, for any of you like/love/need sex and use/choose/partake in birth control and believe that Americans deserve/are entitled to/require birth control access and education.......

go here http://www.ppaction.org/campaign/keroackpetition2

This guy is, according to our own Austin Chronicle, a wack-ass. You want to read some things that will make your head explode, read these over the holiday break.

I especially like his belief that premarital sex is simply "hormonal bondage" and how he mischaracterizes oxytocin, a hormone produced in both males and females. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxytocin

"Emotional pain causes our bodies to produce an elevated level of endorphins which in turn lowers the level of oxytocin. Therefore, relationship failure leads to pain which leads to elevated endorphins which leads to lower oxytocin the result of which is a lower ability to bond. Many in this increased state of emotional pain and lower oxytocin seek sex as a substitute for love which inevitably leads to another failed relationship, and so on, the cycle continues.
There is hope for the weary brokenhearted, Dr. Keroack said, but it requires abstinence and plenty of time for healing."

Christina? Biology notes?

Amazing that Bush pulls this crap when according to a recent article on CNN, asserting that 95 percent of Americans (since the 1940's no less) have engaged in pre-marital sex.

Nothing pisses me off politically than this kind of crap.

Go have some fantastic pre or post marital/ controlled birth sex this holiday season. And if the spirit moves you, sign the petition.
