the threefer and double barrel should be pretty kickass this week.

for the threefer:
in a new beardedlamb joint i'm dusting off an old well hung jury format called POP MUSICAL, where the audience selects a CD from my collection and I improvise a musical while lip-synching to a few songs on the CD intermittently. it was fun with 9 people, but i want to try it with just one.

parallelogramophonograph is doing their annual Christmas special and I'm sure there'll be some good fun and cheer to be had in that one.

kazillionaire* is going to be me plus Kaci Beeler and we're going to improvise a 60s Batman episode, playing all the characters. This should be a lot of fun.

then in the double barrel:
available cupholders perform the usual insane narrative longform shiz and you me & greg step it up and defy expectations as per usual.

in the cagematch:
Chris Trew returns with someone from the Coldtowne conservatory to do Poo Poo People, his new fancy cagematch concept.

This should be a good night. i mainly just wanted to display my excitement for the batman show but why not stay the whole night?

Please allow King Tut to make an appearance. He was my favorite obscure villian from the old TV show.

True, but if you look at most of the villians of that show there was some major suckage...

King Tut: Former Prof. of Egyptology who took on the persona of King Tut after being hit in the head at a student protest. Not a menacing man at 300lbs and dressed like something from Vegas act...not to mention he only gave a crap about artifacts and stuff pertaining to Egypt.

Shame ( aka Cliff Robertson): A poor copy of "Shane", right down to the little kid spouting "Come back, Shame!" at the end of the episode. But you gotta love a villian that creates a fear gas that makes Batman piss his pants. He also gets points for trying to kill Batman via a cattle stampede.

Black Widow: Telulah Bankhead in a role that makes you say WTF?

The Minstrel: Van Johnson dressed like an escappe from a local Ren Faire. His shining moment was that he tried to slow-roast Batman and Robin on a spit, and sang about it.

The Archer: Art Carney must have needed the cash real bad. Another Ren Faire actor lost in Gotham. He was supposed to be like Robin Hood, but more evil.

Egghead: Vincent Price in one of the roles he'd probably want to forget. A bald meglomaniac with an unnatural love for all things eggs.

Lord and Lady Fogg: The couple from Londinium who used their prep school girls to do their dirty work for them. Lord Fogg had the lamest device, a pipe that made fog. Batman, Robin, and Batgirl fought these two for about 4 episodes.

Natsasha and her Cossacks: Teamed up with Egghead to take over Gotham. Also tried to drown Batgirl in a vat of caviar.


So the series had a lot of lame villians. Cesar Romero still remains the best villian of the series, a Joker with a white moustache. (He refused to shave for the role.)

I'm waiting until they put the whole shebang on DVD, then I'm buying them and holding a Batman party.
