Fabulous little dog needs new home

Hey all. Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested.
Dertz is a 5 year-old, neutered male Pomeranian, current on his shots. He's the most personable dog I've ever met - he loves people and can't resist saying hi to everyone he comes across. He's not frantically energetic, but he does like to play and get out and about. He can be pretty jumpy at loud noises, and he doesn't care to walk on tile floors, but he does enjoy car rides. He gets along well with other dogs as long as they're not too rough. His only fault is that he's an explorer - he can't be trusted to stay put unattended. He will stick around when told to and is good on a leash.
I'm looking for a new home for Dertz because my work situation has changed, and I can't bear to leave him cooped up in an apartment all day long. I'm hoping to find him a home where he'll get more social time and a bit more frequent walks or access to a yard.
He's extremely fluffy, but he's actually quite small - only about 15 lbs.

P.S. In case you're wondering about the name: his previous owner named him "Dirty Harry." That got shortened to "Dirts," which just isn't a respectable name for anyone, so it got a new spelling.
