Get Tied Up on stage in the Blank Show

Post by Roy Janik »

I have some blank show slots coming up on the 9th and 16th. They were originally slotted to be Choose Your Own Adventure, but since that's no longer 'experimental', I've decided to do something else with them.

The 9th is Knot Improv. all the Players will be attached to each other by a long-ass piece of rope. Players can be pulled on or off stage at the adjoining players' whim. Rehearsal will teach us how to not hurt each other.

The 16th is Slacker. Much like the Austin-based movie of the same name, this format will consist of one long real-time "story". The action will pass from character to character. It'll be kinda like 6 degrees or the La Ronde, but without any scene edits.

There will be a rehearsal for each of these shows, and the time will be determined once we know who's playing.

I'm looking for 8 people for Knot Improv and as many people as want to play for Slacker.

Who wants in? Respond here, PM me, or e-mail me. Clarification provided upon request.

I am interested in Slacker.

I'm in for slacker and if you want to use handcuffs for the tied improv, I know where you can get some good ones cheap.

Do tell.

I had no idea you would know where to get such things. Think you would have mentioned that before.

I overheard someone in AIC talking about having furry handcuffs once, But I'll be nice and not reveal the name...

I'd be surprised if only one of us owned a pair of furry handcuffs.
