CHRISTMAS ON SIXTH STREET This annual Victorian Christmas fest brings more than 150 artisans to Sixth Street for your holiday-shopping enjoyment, plus there's carnival rides, a zoo, and a Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Hunt to keep you busy. Entertainment includes, among other things, the Austin Children's Choir, Ballet Folklorico, and stilt walkers. Nov. 25, Nov. 26, 11am-8pm. Sixth Street, between Brazos & Red River. Free.
Flyering Mission 2:
So, here's the background: The Cupholders got hired to do the Pirate thing this weekend that was listed in the Call Board by the lovely erika. Subsequently, we learned that the event is on 6th street and that some kind of festival is happening this weekend that is 6th street wide, like Pecan St. Festival. Anyway, your mission would be two-fold.
1) See how ridiculous The Cupholders look doing Pirate themed improv for a bunch of kiddies.
2(and this is the hard-target part) Wander around through this festival and hand out flyers to people who look like they are the right age or countenance to be interested in improv.
The Pirate portion is running on the hour, every hour from 1 to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday. I'd like to schedule at least two people for a two hour block each day to hand out flyers from 1-3pm.
Saturday 1-3pm
