Hey guys,

So I am going to be there in a matter of weeks for a short time before I come back for good in January (excitement level high!). I am hoping to do as many job interviews as possible the week I visit. So if you have any leads, whether it be for temp agencies or for more permanent positions, I would deeeeeeeeeeeply appreciate it.

See you all soon,
Asaf

Ashby Staffing is one of the best staffing companies in Austin (in my young and humble opinion).

It's a tech company. www.netqos.com should have a list of jobs - if you can do one of them, tell them Brian referred you.

The State of Texas is Austin's preeminent giant sugar teat. Given that the Legislature, most of the state agencies, and UT are all here, there are a shitload of jobs in play at any given time.

Here's the link to the Texas Workforce Commission, which keeps listings of most of the currently available state jobs:

http://www.twc.state.tx.us/jobs/job.html

For almost any of them, you'll have to fill out a generic State of Texas application, but once the TWC has it on file it'll save you some redundancy. You can find them here:

Buena suerte, sirrah.

Thank you all for your wonderful leads. The next two weeks are going to be a headache as I sort through all this. I haven't had to look for a job in a while.

Send good vibes.

Hi Asaf. Ashby Staffing does kind of rock. I interviewed midweek and already have a good interview set up. Also applied for a state job. If you apply for any of those, fax the application rather than email because they require a signature.

Poot!
