FACT OF THE DAY: According to research by Michigan State University law professor Brian Kalt, there is a 50-square-mile section of Yellowstone National Park that’s outside of any jurisdictional zones, meaning a person can legally commit almost any crime that would require a jury trial. The theory has not yet been tested.
