FACT OF THE DAY: Wisdom, a female Laysan albatross, is the oldest known bird in the wild. She was born around 1951 and tagged in 1956 by ornithologist Chandler Robbins. Robbins captured and tagged her again in 2002. Wisdom was seen tending to a new chick in 2011.
