FACT OF THE DAY: The main theme to “The Terminator” has no time signature. Composer Brad Fiedel made a mistake recording the score on his synthesizer, resulting in a rhythm that doesn’t match the melody. Fiedel decided the dissonant feel was appropriate for the film and left the mistake in place.
