FACT OF THE DAY: On September 14 in the background of “College Football Gameday,” 24-year-old Carson King displayed a poster reading “Busch Light Supply Needs Replenished” and his Venmo username. By the end of the day, King had received over $600 in donations and announced that—after buying a case of Busch Light—he would be donating all further proceeds to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. As of Wednesday, King has received over $40,000 in donations, which are being matched by both Venmo and Busch Light. (His handle is @carson-king-25.)
