FACT OF THE DAY: In 2010 an antiques dealer purchased a four-poster bed from an English hotel for £2,200. Upon later investigation it was discovered to be the bridal bed of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York, whose 1485 marriage ended the Wars of the Roses. The bed, where Henry VIII was likely conceived, could previously be slept in for £95 a night.
