I had fun last time and would do this again, but I have an evening work-related meeting that night.

the advertising committee requests your help in manning a press stunt promotion for the AIC. it involves a mini-golf hole where people try to get a hole-in-one in paris hilton's or tom cruise's mouth, free ticket or t-shirt giveaways and flyers.
the trouble is, i'm going to be doing a TNA with the cupholders. i can set it up with ace and them around 6pm but we need people to run the dang thing while we run up the HO to do our show, before returning again.

any takers?

I would do it but Pgraph has their debut at the Coldtowne Theater Thursday.

Wow, we've reached some sort of nexus. We're too busy doing shows to convince people to come see our shows.

Sadly, You Me & Greg will be in New Mexico, spreading the Improvlove to some natives.

I can help out, but prefer to have others there, too.

i think this may be a sad yet apropos deduction. is there anyone else that isn't performing or working on a show of some kind that can help out with this promotion event lest we scrap it and totally screw ourselves over?

mo, the current plan is for the cupholders to set up the thing at around 6 and then go to the hideout to do our TNA show, then run back down to SoCo to help man the hole until it's time to close her down. if we can't find anyone else to help, then we gotta say NoSir to the whole thing.

I seem to be in performing in the TNA on first Thursdays lately. I'll gladly help after the show though I'm not sure how much good it will do. Last time I went down after TNA, the foot traffic had pretty much died by the time I got there.

In case there's anybody out there who's like "meh, flyers" I wanted to say, handing out flyers last month was a lot more fun than I thought it'd be. Seriously.

Sure there's some people who just ignore you, but you also get to chat with people and share your improv love and try out a bunch of different ways of attracting attention. It's like performing, maybe strange and targeted at advertising kind of way, but still gets those "on" juices flowing, if that makes any sense.

If I wasn't going to be in another state I'd be there.

Edit: This was a lie. I got my weeks confused. This should read "If I wasn't already booked to sell tickets and perform I'd be there."

If I can get one other person to help me do the golf thing tomorrow, I'm there. Someone!

Otherwise, I'm going to watch TNA, which is the endgame to all of this madness, yes?

Tami and one of our interns will be there to help pass out CT fliers, golf or whateva...

we're going to set up the golf hole in that empty lot between stores up around annie street. i think it's annie. annieway (ha) we'll be near the boot settin up. it would be cool if people would camp out near the hole and attract people with their good cheer so we can hand out tickets and flyers.

we'll be there until at least 9:30 promoting AIC so anyone who wants to drop by and say hello, maybe passey outey, is welcome do so.
