Help with Windows XP

What's the key combo you push to bypass the laoding of Windows in Windows XP and go straight to DOS? I cannot use the command prompt once in Windows, I have to stop Windows from loading.

Depends on your system. USually F8 or F1

F8 will give you a choice of menus.
