FACT OF THE DAY: Neocapritermes taracua, a termite species found in Borneo, sends suicide bombers into battle with other termite colonies. These termites carry two pouches on their back containing separate types of protein; when they encounter an enemy they rupture the pouches, killing themselves and killing or paralyzing their opponent.
