What functionality/topic/etc. do you want from Facebook that isn't here?

How can we make that happen?

Go wild.

I'll start by saying a separate "AIC Match-up" like topic under announcements would be great.

Separate from auditions, this is for casting your mash-up groups, free fringes, anything lives, etc.

Posts should be "Who's available for this?" or "Who would be into improv like this?"

The Casting topic would include all scheduled/official theater/troupe auditions.

Notifications are a big part of what Facebook offers, even though the sheer volume of them can get overwhelming. You can see at a glance when someone has replied to your post. I think the best phpBB can muster is email...

I'm thinking perhaps if there's really gonna be an exodus from Facebook, we may have to leave old phpBB behind...

And oh dear Lord, how long it took to post that last reply... and now I'm getting "You cannot make another post so soon after your last." Ouch.

Solution: When replying, look below the "Submit" button the "Options" area. "Notify me when a reply is posted" is an option. You'll probably get an email.

Suggestions.

1. I very strongly second a Matchup forum.
2. An update to phpBB and/or a new theme that supports mobile devices would be wonderful please.
3. "Facebook without Facebook" works for me. Take a firm hand toward locking threads, moving them to The Stump, or sending them to the Hall of Jackasses.
