FACT OF THE DAY: On Thursday a lifeguard in Lennox Head, Australia performed the first-ever water rescue via drone to help two surfers caught in heavy surf. Upon locating the swimmers, the operator was able to launch the drone, reach the swimmers, and drop a floatation pod in less than two minutes.
