The average shot length (ASL) in the film is over 46 seconds; by way of comparison, Michael Bay’s Transformers films have ASLs between 3 and 3.4 seconds. The highest ASL in film history, excluding single-shot films, is Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rope” which has 10 shots in total and an ASL of 433.9 seconds.
