FACT OF THE DAY: Every August 31, the residents of Nejapa, El Salvador commemorate the 1658 eruption of a local volcano with an event called "Las Bolas De Fuego” (Balls of Fire) where residents throw flaming balls of rags at each other. According to ABC News Australia, as of 2015 “few serious injuries have been reported.”
