FACT OF THE DAY: In 1999, the band Sha Na Na learned that a Florida man was claiming to be—and performing as—their late member Vinnie Taylor, who had died in 1974. The imposter turned out to be convicted murderer Elmer Solly, who had escaped from prison, also in 1974.
