FACT OF THE DAY: In 1992, a grove of trees forming the shape of a swastika was found in a forest 60 miles north of Berlin. The larch trees were planted some time in the 1930s, and in the autumn their orange-yellow coloring caused the swastika to stand out amidst the surrounding pine trees when viewed from the air. The grove was felled in 1995.
