FACT OF THE DAY: The Blood Quran is a copy of the Quran commissioned by Saddam Hussein in 1997 and written entirely in his own blood. Islamic scholars are unsure what to do with the volume, since it is considered sinful to write the Quran in such a way, but also sinful to destroy a copy of the Quran.
