Only an intellectual would know that sin is a one-syllable word.

I'm glad that, as a person who is "moved by the spirit of God", she's not fooled by all that "Oh we're real open to everybody" "hippie stuff."

Onward Christian soldier!!

I am sick of running a center of government, a center of learning, and a high-tech job market if it means a bunch of intellectuals all over the place.

I watched a bunch of those other videos (all Austin Public Access) on the bad creationists and Gay marriage and abortion and whoa-nelly, what a town we live in! I highly recommend them, they're a hoot!

"I think that feminism in marriage causes homosexuality in children. If the wife wears the pants in the family, it is very likely the son will wear a skirt."
Words to live by.

Wow. Austin beat out other hell-holes like Las Vegas, New York City, Detriot, Amsterdam, Bangkok, and Washington DC.

I say we put: 'Austin : Stinking Hellhole of Sin' on the back of our next batch of AIC T-shirts. We'd sell the whole batch on the next first Thursday.

I would like to have a screening of the worst (best?) of these, distill some great (creepy, scary) characters out of them, then make our own videos and feed them into the public access pipeline.

Anyone ever see Fernwood Tonight with Martin Mull & Fred Willard? It's really dry but a great talk show parody - it works because they play it very straight in the face of extremely bizarre guests. My favorite is probably Tom Waits singing "The Piano Has Been Drinking" while Mull and Willard look on in confused horror.

The interview is even better, especially how he awkwardly asks the hosts for a little cash.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
