Meets Mondays 7p-10pm starting Monday 5/18 (6 sessions) Only a few spots left!

Course Description:
This second class in our musical improv series will build on the basics and invite the performers to step up their game, creating more complex song structures, enhanced confidence and commitment, and begin to weave songs into an improvised narrative. You’ll begin to explore and master solo song performance and structure techniques, character intro songs, as well as subtly directing a group number from within a show. You will explore the art of rhyming on the fly and up your precision and timing when it comes to singing on stage. The musical accompanist is Ammon Taylor. Classes meet for six weeks, three hours each week, limit 14 students. You must have completed Level Five at the Hideout or have equivalent improv training to take this class. The workshop will culminate in a student showcase for friends and family in the Sunday Weekender.
