Aside from being potentially funny, this is a great networking/marketing opportunity for the AIC and member groups and theaters since it will likely have many performer types and show-going types.
I met a guy and a cute girl (I actually got her to help me flyer for a while: score!) last night at First Thursday. They were flyering for this event. They said anyone can perform here, as long as it's not an original work... although you must attempt to pass it off as your own.
It can be theatre, literature, songs, readings from the Bible, whatever. Just do anything.
