FACT OF THE DAY: Prior to his 1987 NFL debut against the Denver Broncos, outspoken linebacker Brian “The Boz” Bosworth gave a series of interviews insulting John Elway’s looks and threatening to draw penalties. Outraged Denver fans bought thousands of “Ban the Boz” t-shirts, presumably not realizing that the shirts were manufactured by Bosworth’s own apparel company.
