The Sugarbowl Cabaret swings open its doors once more to the opulent jewel that has drawn many a man in and kept many a women's secret. But behind all the sequined glamor and lush decor is a minefield of a life.
Each week, you'll follow a different burlesque dancer through their joys and struggles, sometimes with the aid of the girls that surround them, sometimes in spite of them. And all the action will be improvised, from the full burlesque numbers where they bare their flesh to the backstage adventures where they'll bare much more. Will the footlights that make them glow onstage carry into all the other dark crevices of their lives?
The 2014 B. Iden Payne Award-Winning Hurly Burly is directed by Jayme Ramsay and Marc Majcher and featuring a stunning cast of performers including Adriane Shown, Bridget Brewer, Brook Beltane, Eureka Smoke, Halyn Erickson, Jennifer Hill, Jessie Pascarelli, Lulu LaMer, Wilhelmina Wyldehart, Chad Wellington, Caeriel Crestin, Marc Majcher, Paul Normandin, and Ryan Hill.
