Hello all,
My name is Jen Dorsey and I'm one of the producers of the Austin Monologue Jam at the Institution theater. Beginning today we are casting 10 performers for our second show which will be on Saturday, February 7 at 10 PM. The show runs as a friendly competition where performers improvise a monologue in character. For more information: http://theinstitutiontheater.com/shows
We are casting to create a mix of experienced improvisers with newer improvisers and students. Current and former students of the Institution Theater especially students who have completed the Institution's 401 class are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.

The first show in this series will be this Saturday, January 24 at 8 PM at the Institution theater. This Saturday's show is free, and we encourage you to come by and see the format firsthand if you are considering applying for the February show or a show in the future. One performer will always be drawn from the audience, so watching the show may also provide an opportunity to perform.
