Thanks to Latifah, the E.D. for Austin Circle of Theatres, a 30 year-old non- profit that umbrellas the stages and theatres in Austin, ACoT has just purchased a be-all, end-all calendar website: Now Playing Austin. http://www.nowplayingaustin.com/
This means that all your Film Screenings, Film Festivals, Film/Script Submission Deadlines, Conference Badge Purchases, Film/acting/writing Classes, Film-related meetings, Film & Screenwriting competitions, Table Reads, and other Film-Related Events can be found in one place on the internet along with other cultural events: Theatre, Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Festivals, Kid & Family Events, Poetry, Literature, Sports .... Purchase of tickets for certain events will be online as well.
This website will allow you to enter your organization's events yourself for events occurring after November 7th when the website goes 'live.' The website is www.nowplayingaustin.com .
