Hey y'all,

One of the most special parts of the annual AIC Potluck (which is coming on Sunday, November 23rd) is the Love Notes. These are short notes on scraps of paper that you write to your fellow improvisers and stuff into envelopes with their names, just like old-school Valentines. The notes can be signed or anonymous, long or short, it's totally up to you.

You are strongly encouraged to write your notes in advance, so that when you arrive, you can simply drop the notes in the respective envelopes and then get to eating and socializing. There will be extremely limited supplies available for last-minute notes, but if you realize you've forgotten someone, we encourage you to give a verbal note, in person, right then and there.

Here's the plan:
• RSVP for the potluck here: https://www.facebook.com/events/696911920403008/
• Start writing your notes based on the "Yes" RSVPs to the event. There will be a Love Note Writing Party inside the Hideout coffeeshop on the afternoon of Saturday the 22nd; I'll have paper and markers, and you can come for as long as you want to write your notes.
• When you arrive at the potluck, grab an empty envelope, write your name on it, and stick it on the designated Love Note Wall. Then start depositing your notes in the other envelopes.

Once again, you are strongly discouraged from writing love notes at the potluck.

Hope all that makes sense, but post below if not. Lookin' forward to it.

for anyone who isnt going, but wishes to have love notes done for others - can they make them and will someone else be willing to deliver them on behalf?

You're not going to the Potluck, but you want your notes to be delivered for you? I'm sure that can be arranged.

Love note envelopes usually make it to The Hideout, but it might be useful for whoever puts up your envelope (if you're not attending) to write the name of the theater you are most commonly at, so it can be taken there for you to pick up.

I am not worried about any for me, but for those i wish to be sure get a note from me. I hope to have them all or most all done before the love note writing party and able to bring them in and beg someone to carry them around for me and deliver them (for this I will happily buy the person a drink or two)
